Song of Solomon movie helps director believe again
Director Richard Ramsey was on the verge of becoming an Atheist until he made The Song
Like the director of the Drop Box, Richard Ramsey, the director of The Song, almost became an Athiest, and then he made a movie about the Song of Solomon.
“If we are the unintended byproduct of time and chance acting on matter, life has absolutely no objective meaning or purpose,” Ramsey says.
But after reading for Ecclesiastes in preparation for directing The Song, something changed.
“What do you get for believing that narrative (evolution)? You get a pat on the head from that academia, they’ll tell you you’re a good smart, bright little boy, and you get to believe your life has no objective meaning or purpose. No thanks.”
