The Oakville, Ontario church previously led by disgraced pastor Bruxy Cavey has apologized for remarks from a church leader suggesting Cavey will return to ministry.
At a town hall meeting, a church overseer made a statement directed at Cavey, saying "God isn't done with you" and suggesting he take all he has learned and minister to other church leaders. After backlash from members of the congregation, the church apologized in an email, acknowledging the statement may have been insensitive to Cavey's abuse victims and others affected by his actions.
