The singer and co-writer of Journey's Don't Stop Believin' says he used to credit his father for all of his inspiration, but now sees God was behind it all.
Jonathan Cain grew up around the church, but says it was his father he was always writing for. Through many challenging experiences and periods, his dad encouraged him, even giving him the line, "don't stop believin'." However, after a profound encounter with God, Cain says he came to realize it was Him the whole time. He now leads worship in church, a place he never thought he'd find himself.
