The family of the former lead pastor of Springs Church has released a statement about his death, and the responses they have received in the week since.
Leon Fontaine died suddenly on Saturday, November 19th, surprising many in his church and community. In a statement this week, his family say he was "unexpectedly diagnosed with late-stage cancer" while on a holiday, and despite pursuing treatment, died shortly after. The family is thanking church members and others for their outpouring of support over the past week.
