Challenging COVID Worship Bans

Religious freedom enables all people to live according to their conscience, regardless of their religious convictions.

Do you remember what it was like to be banned from attending church services? For months, many countries forbade people from gathering for worship, prayer, communion, confession, or baptism. Church doors were closed either for everyone, or excluded the unmasked, untested, or even unvaccinated. Jesus, who met lepers with open arms, would certainly have disapproved.

Photo finish may elude Kentucky wedding photographer

Appeals court questions plaintiff’s standing to sue over public accommodations ordinance

What could have been a slam dunk for a Louisville, Ky., wedding photographer’s federal appeal was sidetracked Thursday by a last-minute play by attorneys for the local government.

Chelsey Nelson sued the Louisville Metro government in November 2019 over a public accommodations ordinance she contended would require her to photograph and create blogs for same-sex weddings. She believes marriage is designed only for one man and one woman and the city’s law would have compelled her to speak messages that violated her religious convictions. In August 2020, a federal district court judge agreed with Nelson, barring Louisville from enforcing the law against her. The city appealed.

Inside a father’s fight to save his son in ‘trans sanctuary state’ of California

‘If you love your children, you need to flee California,’ state lawmaker warns

After a state family court severed Ted Hudacko’s joint custody from his trans-identifying son, the California father was left twisting inside a legal straitjacket while his son underwent a procedure that even violated a California court order protecting the child, a scenario countless parents across the U.S. might face given the state’s commitment to being a “sanctuary state” for underage sex change procedures, he says.

Fauci Prompted ‘Cover-Up’ to ‘Disprove’ COVID-19 Lab Leak Theory, House GOP Report Says

“Our main work… has been focused on trying to disprove any type of lab theory…”

A new report by the House of Representatives’ Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic alleges then-National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci prompted an effort to suppress the theory that the coronavirus emerged from a lab in Wuhan, China.

Fauci on numerous occasions prompted researchers to author a paper intended to “discredit” the theory that COVID-19 originated from a lab, the report states, citing internal emails. Additionally, one of the paper’s own authors noted that the paper did not help “refute a lab origin” theory.

‘A beautiful thing’: 4,500 people baptized at California beach days after SoCal Harvest

Greg Laurie believes it could be one of the largest mass baptisms ever.

“I would say the Jesus Revolution movie really impacted people and so many have come to Christ after seeing it,” Laurie said. “They were so moved by the baptism scenes in the film and wanted to take the same step in life. It was life imitating art, and that art was based on my real life story and the story of many others as well.”

Laurie also attributed the turnout to the SoCal Harvest at the Honda Center the weekend before, where over 3,000 people made a profession of faith to follow Christ.

The rainbow is God’s symbol of forgiveness, not acceptance

June is gay pride month. The homosexual community has adopted the rainbow as their symbol of God’s acceptance of their actions and lifestyle. But what does the Bible say about this?

The only place in the Bible that addresses the rainbow is in Genesis 9 after the Noahic flood that destroyed the earth because the world had become so violent and sexually promiscuous in Genesis 6.
