Brian Houston Denies Alleged Misconduct Led to Hillsong Resignation

Former Hillsong lead pastor Brian Houston says his resignation in March was not due to his alleged misconduct.
Houston resigned just days after an internal investigation at Hillsong revealed allegations of inappropriate behaviour toward two different women. In a video posted to YouTube this past week, Houston says he resigned not out of guilt for the behaviour, but because the allegations would make his position untenable. He has also returned to public speaking, despite saying at the time of his resignation that he would step away from ministry for the rest of the year.
