Upcoming Conference: Transformative Times Conference
Event Date: Dec 21
We are living in transformative times. In January 2020 the world changed overnight. The Covid -19 pandemic upended our day-to-day lives across the globe, changing how we work, learn, and interact with one another. There is one thing, however, that we know for certain: the pandemic has had NO effect on the mission of the church. The mission remains the same: To share the Good News of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. This mission is driven by the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19, where Jesus tells his disciples to “go and make disciples”. This has been the primary outward mission of the Christian church ever since. Followers of Jesus are commanded to make more followers of Jesus. We are called and commissioned to reclaim what was lost, to bring transformation by advancing the kingdom into the heart of the nation (the marketplace, business, government, education, the church) and in the process, disciple the nation into its God-given destiny. This command comes with a promise: He will be with us always, every minute of every day, until the very end of the present age, and eternally.
This mission is the driving force for an upcoming conference, the Transformative Times Conference, being held on November 4th & 5th, 2022. The purpose of the conference is to unify believers from every tribe and nation, to share the good news of Jesus Christ, and to create and develop a Spirit-inspired, kingdom-focused, transformational movement in Canada and beyond.
This FREE conference is being held at People’s Christian Academy, 245 Renfrew Dr, Markham, ON and is jam-packed with activities. At the general sessions, you’ll hear some of the best, most progressive leaders in the field such as Greg Musselman, Floyd Brobbell, Scott Kennedy and Rod Hembree. At the various seminar sessions you can take part in fruitful discussions with engaging, insightful leaders facilitating conversations on topics such as world missions, law enforcement, legal issues, strengthening the family, revival, persecution and faithful witness, and the Jewish roots of our faith. Children’s programming is available by BCM (Bible Centered Ministries) staff for kids in kindergarten through to grade 6. There are exhibit booths, on-site food available, and a prayer room. Both days end with a live worship conference led by Martine Kelsey on Friday evening and Rachel Teo on Saturday evening. Tickets to the concert are $10 each.
If you are unable to attend the conference in person, you can live-stream the three general sessions (Friday Nov 4, 7 pm and Saturday Nov 5 at 11 am and 6:30 pm). An active link will be provided 10 minutes before the start of the sessions.
