A new Pew study is predicting that Christians will make up fewer than half of all Americans by 2070.
Based on their surveys of Americans and modelling for the future, Pew says that the rate at which Americans are leaving faith is much higher than the rate of people converting to Christianity, and that shows no signs of changing course. Currently at 64% in the United States, the report suggests Christianity may sink to 46% in less than half a century.
