Reverse trick-or-treating fights poverty

WOODSTOCK, ON—Oxford Students for Justice (OS4J) are calling college students and youth groups to do some 'reverse trick-or-treating' this Halloween. The goal: to tell people about Fair Trade products. Participants are encouraged to dress up and go door-to-door, handing out Fair Trade chocolates along with a pamphlet explaining how Fair Trade goods help to fight poverty in cocoa-producing countries. Halloween-size Fair Trade chocolates are available from Camio, Oxfam, Green & Blacks, and Cadburys. OS4J is a project of Youth Unlimited (Toronto Youth for Christ). For more information, see Fair Trade Halloween.
