Canadian universities are divided on whether to observe Monday's one-time federal holiday honouring Queen Elizabeth II.
Following the announcement from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, public universities across Canada announced they were cancelling classes on September 19th. Many Christian institutions, however, have decided to move forward with classes and instead honour the Queen's passing while school is in session.
